Oconomowoc Water Protection Program Partners Meeting
April 16 | 6 - 8 pm | Oconomowoc Community Center
Make plans to attend the OWPP Partners Meeting on April 16! One of the speakers is Rick Larkin, President of the Southeast Wisconsin Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Co-chair of its Habitat Committee. He will talk about the mutually beneficial aspects of the Mason Creek property currently being rehabilitated to control phosphorus pollution to protect North Lake by removing invasive plant species, restoring native plant species, and also improving a trout stream with a population of native Brook trout.
Mason Creek is one of only a handful of cold-water streams where Brook trout live in southeastern Wisconsin and this project has the potential to be a win-win for all parties.
The event is free but please register here.
