Healthy Lakes Conference
The 2024 Annual Healthy Lakes Conference will be held in person on September 19th 2024 at the Oconomowoc Lake Club. We have a very special keynote speaker this year, New York Times Best-Selling Author Dan Egan, on his new book, “The Devil’s Element: Phosphorus and a World Out of Balance,” discussion moderated by Susan Bence.
Registration begins at 8:30 and the conference programming starts at 9 am. Continental breakfast and lunch are also included! There is an optional boat tour at 2:00 pm. Early bird registration is $75, then conference registration goes up to $100. Students also have a special rate of $50.

Lake Country Clean Water Festival
Since 2011, the festival has focused on raising awareness for the increasing need to preserve Lake Country’s waterways and raising money for cleanup efforts so we can all enjoy the fun and beauty that the lakes bring to our community. The festival has also provided opportunities for all to enjoy the many recreational activities that our lakes afford from learning to water ski, pontoon boat rides, our education tent and workshops on the beach, to paddle sports and more! Oconomowoc Watershed Protection Program: 9th Annual Watershed Paddle Event & River Clean-Up
Join us at North Lake Yacht Club on Northwoods Drive for the 9th annual watershed paddle cleanup event. The route includes exploring three tributaries and the newly dredged mouth of the Oconomowoc River. Afterwards join for free lunch and a nature walk at the Oconomowoc River Conservancy Park. Lake Country Clean Waters Quarterly Meeting
Join us for the second quarterly meeting of the year for Lake Country Clean Waters. It will be held on Wednesday, June 7th from 5 - 7 pm at the Stone Bank Farm Market Education Center. The presentation will include information on legal issues and waterway permits for lake residents by WDNR attorney Michael Kowalkowski and a Waukesha office waterway permit representative. Before and after the presentation there will be an opportunity for networking and refreshments! You can register here.
